The trip to North Wales was as always an entertaining affair and the swimming wasn’t bad either!  Impossible to mention all the highlights but from memory I think the whole team produced at least a PB or seasons best.

Magnum produced a superb 50m FC to smash the sub 30 barrier as once again his PB book needs another overhaul.

The Team Manager found time between relay selections to demonstrate he’s bang on form for a good national performance with a string of PB’s.

Despite an unusual three month taper, a freak golfing injury, and a few extra chunks the ‘Bolton Bullet’ produced another Bangor special to bolster his decathlon points total.

The day finished with the mixed 8x25m Freestyle relay which having narrowly missed out in 2007 the team this time produced a new meet record to chalk an impressive victory over some strong competition.
