ETWALL EAGLES SWIMMING CLUB

The Eagles had an enjoyable trip north to Widnes for the first Halton Masters Meet, full of summer rust the team blew away a few cobwebs to record some useful times.

After a largely inactive couple of months this proved an ideal return to competitive action.  Paul continued his seemingly endless run of PBs, Steve P again produced some quick 50s, and Dave looked in fine form, but then he always does!

Plenty of PBs and records were recorded throughout which resulted in the most impressive and heaviest visiting team trophy being presented to Clive although only Linda was strong enough to hold aloft.

We later learnt Sarah and Lisa have a career waiting in photography albeit with a slightly macabre angle!

Top marks to the Officials and swimmers of Halton for organising a great meet, very enjoyable social event and being a friendly and hospitable club.

And finally thanks to the visiting Czech team for supplying the liquid refreshment.
