Shrewsbury (Jan)	Clive Smith (100m Butterfly, 1.34.68, 2nd 35-39 age group) For successfully completing the event for the first time and with style!
Rotherham (Feb)	Dave Holland (200m Freestyle, 2.06.22, 1st 25-29 age group) For recording a huge PB and club record all at the end of a long day.
Bracknell (March)	Paul Ingle (200m Breaststroke, 3.08.20, 2nd 35-39 age group) For recording a 15 second PB and club record, all within weeks of re-modeling stroke
Midlands (April)	Clive Smith (400m IM, 6.41.89, 3rd 35-39 age group) For recording two PB's in one event! 100m Fly PB and still went onto finish  strong.
Gloucester (April)	Chris Rolle (100m Freestyle, 58.93, 2nd 30-34 age group) For breaking the 59 sec barrier
Prague (May)	Jacqui Graham (50m Freestyle, 29.68, 1st 35-39 age group) For breaking 30 seconds so easily!
GB Champs (June)	Dave Holland (400 IM, 5.08.89, 1st 25-29 age group and 1st overall) WINNER OF SWIMMER OF THE YEAR 2008 WELL DONE DAVE!!! Fastest in the whole event, and the way he put so much into the last 50 to  secure a well desreved gold medal. A special mention also to: Julie Gibson (200 Butterfly, New British Record 2.35.44 40-44 age group)
