TRAVEL BY COACH
Swimmers should:
Arrive in good time for the coach
Inform the Coach, Team Manager or other helper if they are likely to be late
Use seat belts on the coach
Remain in seats unless for a good reason
Parents should:
Accompany their child, or arrange for another person over the age of 16, to have responsibility for any child under 13.
Ensure good behaviour from any children in their care whilst on the coach, including enforcing the use of seat belts.
Ensure that they, or unaccompanied children, have money to pay for the coach travel, currently £2.50 per person per gala.
AT THE GALA
Swimmers should:
Be respectful at all times to other Teams, their swimmers, Club and Gala Officials
Always remain with the team or a Club Official and should not leave the venue without either parents or a Club Official
Be supportive towards other Etwall swimmers. It is in everyone’s interests for our swimmers to perform to their best ability and to be happy
Swim to the best of their ability in the events for which the Coach has selected them, they should not question the selection policy.
Inform the Coach, Team Manager or other poolside helper if there is a problem of any sort
Parents should:
Support and encourage all Etwall swimmers during the gala.
Approach the Coach, Team Manager or other poolside helper if there is a problem with a swimmer
Otherwise remain in the spectator area during the gala
Parents should not:
•Enter the changing rooms during the gala
•Try to directly resolve a problem with another parent’s child
The Coach, Team Manager or a helper approached should:
•As soon as possible, address any problem identified or pass it on to a responsible swimmer to deal with. This will normally be a masters swimmer.
The club will:
•If appropriate, investigate an identified problem as soon as possible.
