ETWALL EAGLES SWIMMING CLUB

It is important that swimmers behave responsibly when training.  This allows everyone to enjoy the sessions and get full benefit from them.  Swimmers should:

arrive in good time for sessions with all necessary equipment

be attentive and co-operative with all the coaches instructions. Do not talk, interrupt or distract when the coach is talking.

always go to the toilet before swimming starts.

be well behaved in the changing rooms, respecting other swimmers and their property

be respectful and courteous to other swimmers, coaches, teachers, Club Officials, parents, and in particular, any members of the public who may be using the facilities

If it is felt that a swimmer is not behaving in an appropriate manner, the coach will follow the following procedure:

give a verbal warning to the swimmer and notify their parents

if the problem continues a meeting will be arranged between the swimmer, their parents, the coach and the chair

if the problem still continues the coach will have the option of suspending the swimmer for 1 week. On the return of that swimmer, a parent will be asked to attend for the first week.

Persistent misbehaviour will lead to the exclusion of the swimmer from the club.
