A magnificent turn out for the February meet hosted by the Isle Of Wight swim team in Sandown saw Dave Holland and Ruth Lowe compete in 24 events between them. Ruth recorded 100% wins gaining top points and winning her first top lady trophy, congratulations to her! Also swimming, in age group 25/29 and trying to regain the top man trophy for the third time was Dave, with tough opposition Mr Holland manage several first and second places just missing out on the trophy finishing as runner-up.

Thirteen club records were set by the pair, which also resulted in Etwall finishing inside the top ten for the top club award – an incredible effort!!

The meet was well run with the introduction of 200m and 25m races going down well, thanks to IOW swim team for a great weekend of competition.
