A fantastic start to the new swimming year saw the squad pick up the top visiting team award for the very first time, providing Captain Briggs with her first official duty!

After a very close contest with Loughborough Town we came out on  top by 26 points.  A great team effort from the sixteen travelling members which included debutant Charlotte Howard.

The gala format requires swimmers to compete in the four strokes and Individual Medley. A number of Etwall swimmers collected maximum points in respective age groups.

Lots of club records were broken throughout the day with Carl and Garry making the most of the move to age group D!  Congratulations to Linda for picking up her first individual club record.

Thanks to Shrewsbury Masters Club for organising the meet and the excellent social which followed the gala.
