Dear Swimmers,

The Derbyshire ASA County Swimming Short Course Championships, will be taking place on 16/17 and 23/24 February 2019, at the Arc Leisure Centre, Matlock.

Here is a copy of the entry pack, which includes the entry form and qualifying times.  A full copy of the pack and entry forms, will be available on the board at Etwall Leisure Centre from tomorrow.

Times must have been achieved since 1 January 2018 and must be on the British Swimming Rankings Database (this is not our SCM system).  The link to find out if your times are on the rankings database is below and you need to change the period to last 12 months.  Enter your Swim England Membership number or your surname (this way you'll need to scroll down until you find yourself and then click on your SE number on the left hand side), this will then show your times from the past 12 months.

The closing date for Etwall Eagles entries will be Friday, 11 January at 8.00pm.  No late entries will be allowed.  Please either email completed forms to [email protected], or hand completed forms to the coaching team.  Again they must be fully completed forms and I will arrange collection from the coaches.

I will be at Etwall on 6 January (5.30-7.30pm) and 11 January (7.00-8.00pm), if you wish to hand forms to me.

Again we will try the BACS payment method, but I ask that you follow the instructions below.  The Treasurer and I found it difficult to match payments against swimmers for meets at the end of this year, as people did not follow the referencing required.  This method does not cost the club, which is why we have chosen this method of payment, but if we continue to have issues, we will have to review this for future meets/championships.

When you make payment, we need you to put the following as the reference:

DASA - Surname (ie Hall)

Payment must be made within 24 hours of receipt of your form.

If you have any queries, then please email at [email protected].

Many thanks

CATHY HALL
