Three Etwall swimmers, Mia Slevin, Toby Arnold and Charlotte Hall attended the EISM, which incorporated the British Swimming Championships.  What a weekend to pick, with all the heavy falls of snow around.  Luckily for them, they travelled up a few days before the blanket of snow arrived, although Scotland was on a red warning while they were there.  Having to push the minibus up a hill, was great team building and a pre swim exercise!

Toby competed in 3 events, Mia in 5 and Charlotte in 4.  The qualification times were tough, with the fastest swimmers competing in the morning and all others in the afternoon.  The evening consisted of the finals for all events.

Toby and Charlotte both achieved some excellent PB’s and more than that, the experience of competing at such a high level meet.

Mia qualified and swam in 3 Junior finals (100m free, 200m free and 200m back).  This is an amazing achievement, as Juniors are up to and including 17 year olds.

Well done from all at Etwall Eagles for qualifying and achieving so much, at such a high level meet.
